Bio Elizabeth White's interdisciplinary practice includes work with photography, video, performance, installation, and social relations. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured by The Girl Project and in the “Discover New Talent” section of ArtInfo.com. Elizabeth has been honored with an Aaron Siskind Fellowship and the support of the Hattie Strong Foundation. She holds an MFA in photography, video, and related media from the School of Visual Arts and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Vassar College. Currently, Elizabeth teaches digital imaging and new media culture courses at the College of Staten Island (CUNY) and Ramapo College of New Jersey. She has also taught at Purchase College (SUNY) and been a guest critic at Parsons and Sarah Lawrence. Elizabeth is the creator and editor of the blog, HOT ART ACTION!, an online caledar of interesting art talks and events around New York.
