During the launch party for I’ll Be Your Mirror, I invited guests to accompany me into a small “photo booth” booth for a portrait session. Over the next 48 hours I digitally manipulated the portraits creating falsely symmetrical twins from each half of a sitter’s face. The symmetrical twin images were then printed and hung in the gallery for the official opening reception, during which the subjects returned to see their portraits and those of their friends. I’ll Be Your Mirror was staged at Galerie Lifebomb in Berlin in 2006.
